Class C AC Imax (20KA) Three Phase AC Power Surge Protector Device Application:

• BR-20 series surge protective devices are suitable for C grade surge protection, which protects the electrical network not shocked by the thunder.

• BR-20 Surge protective Devices (referred as SPD) provide protection against surge current resulted from direct or indirect lightning strike or similar surge voltage.

• The Britec BR-20 series surge protection devices are usually installed in low voltage main distribution box connected to the incoming end of the buildings.

• SPD is applicable to circuit with rated frequency 50/60Hz.

• In case of surge current or voltage caused by lightning strike or similar, SPD functions quickly to conduct the surge voltage/current to earth and thus effectively prevent the downstream equipment of its protected line from destruction.
